get-paid-blogging_make-money-bloggingI have written my own blog for several years, in fact I have started quite a few of them in the past. I have experimented with loads of different blog hosting sites and finally after finding one I really like I began to blog on a daily basis, about nothing in particular, just my everyday life. It finally dawned on me after seeing rather a large amount of traffic frequently visiting my website that I could use my skills to make some extra money.

Blogging to Make Money

I have seen many bloggers turn professional and thought that perhaps I could give it a go. I learnt some excellent tips along the way and I thought that it would be a great idea to share them with you, just in case you have the desire and the time to blog as a way of making some extra income, or even to make blogging your full time profession. So here are some simple tips that can help you to become a blogging master and turn a hobby into an income.

Create Your Own Original Content

It doesn’t matter what your blog is about, it could be about the daily trials of your life or a specific hobby of yours, working from home or raising a family. Whatever you blog about needs to be your own work, and by this I mean not copied from other websites. It is OK to quote others and even base your written content on someone else’s work providing you give them credit by linking to their site or stating where you got the information from.

Whether you write all of your own blog posts, or if you hire or invite others to produce work for you, the content needs to be free from plagiarism. You can check this by using online software such as Copyscape or DupePro.

Find Your Audience and Dedicate Your Work to Them

This is an important thing to consider. You may want to please as many people as possible but by writing for everyone you could be neglecting your most profitable audience, the people who relate to you and what you are talking about. These are the people who will be interested in what you are saying, will want to share you content with their friends and potentially be happy to spend their money or time in a way that makes you some money, such as clicking on affiliate links, signing up for membership or whatever you may be doing in order to make an income.

Be Consistent when it Comes to Publishing Blog Posts

The way to build a good following and keep the level of traffic high to your site is by posting frequently. Your readers want to know that when they come to your site they will find new information or posts that they can read. To achieve the most out of your blog you should aim to post at least once a day if not more.  You might find this hard so if you cannot post once a day get known for the days that you do post on and stick to them, such as every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

This can be a very difficult task, especially when life gets in the way so if possible get ahead of your schedule and stay ahead. You can create multiple posts to spread out over the next week or two on days when you have nothing else going on and schedule them to be posted on certain days. If you don’t not have any financial backing to help you get started with your blog as you create more income you may also wish to use copywriters to  help you maintain this level of work.

Make money from blogging with the help of professional copywriters. Use their skills to post frequent content relating to your website and see your traffic and income increase.
